This Intellectual Property Policy outlines the ownership and usage rights of all materials created by ZEDLAUNCH and the client during the course of a project.
1. Ownership of Final Deliverables
Upon full payment, the Client owns all final website designs, written content, and visual assets created specifically for their project. This includes:
Webpage layouts
Custom graphics or visuals (excluding stock images or licensed assets)
Any copy or content written specifically for the site
Editable project files (if requested and agreed upon)
2. ZEDLAUNCH Portfolio Rights
ZEDLAUNCH retains the right to display completed projects—including screenshots, designs, and links—for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed in advance.
3. Third-Party Assets
Clients are responsible for securing proper licenses for:
Fonts
Stock photos
Logo files or brand assets provided to ZEDLAUNCH
ZEDLAUNCH may use free or licensed third-party assets in the project. Any licensing costs will be disclosed and approved by the client in advance.
4. Pre-Existing Materials
Any materials provided by the client (e.g., logos, written content, brand guidelines) remain the sole property of the client and are used strictly for the purpose of completing the agreed-upon work.
5. Working Files
Editable source files (e.g., Figma designs, raw image files) are not automatically included. If requested, they can be provided at an additional cost unless otherwise agreed.
6. Unauthorized Use
Until full payment is received, ZEDLAUNCH retains all rights to the work. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly use the deliverables until the project is paid in full.
